Shri T.S.R. Khannaiyann, the founder and chairman of Hindusthan Educational Institutions, began his career in 1975 with the trading of electromagnetic equipment, later becoming a successful industrialist in the power transformer manufacturing sector. His innovation, leadership, and communication skills earned him the "Best Entrepreneur" award.

In 1992, he established The Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust to serve the youth and contribute to society through quality education, a vision realized through the Hindusthan Educational Institutions.

Shri Khannaiyann has been honored with the “Kongu Rathna” Award and the “Lifetime Education Achievement Award” in 2010 for his outstanding contributions to education and the student community. His leadership continues to inspire and shape the future of many.
